No. You are required to complete and pass a written assessment to achieve Stage 1 CRT Training. When you have completed the online course, you and your trainer/assessor will arrange a follow-up meeting. This may take place in person, or online, depending on your location. Your trainer/assessor will give you further training prior to you completing your written assessment. Once you have passed the written assessment, you will have achieved Stage 1 of CRT training. No. To become a certified child restraint technician you are required to complete two stages of training. The second stage (Practical Component) cannot be completed online as it requires hands-on training in the installation of child restraints.
