  • Once the online course is complete, have I achieved Unit Standard 26556?

No. You are required to complete and pass a written assessment to achieve Unit Standard 26556. • When I have achieved Unit Standard 26556, am I a Child Restraint Technician?

No. To become a qualified child restraint technician you are required to complete two unit standards. The second unit Standard, 26557, cannot be completed online as it requires hands-on training in the installation of child restraints.
